Materials
Each collage is crafted from textured, handmade paper, typically mounted on heavyweight drawing paper or rag paper.
Process
I start by organically ripping or cutting out intriguing shapes. Then, I observe how these shapes unfold within the composition. Once the image feels right, I use matte medium, Mod Podge, or rubber cement to attach the paper.
Concept
While I allow the images to evolve organically, these collages are indicative of my walks in nature, sometimes drawing from my dreams as well. I believe this process enables me to tap into my subconscious, resulting in a blend of concrete and dreamlike imagery.
